Help i think my chicken has a broken leg

Hmmmm.... I agree with @Eggcessive. That does look like this deformity. If it is that, she should be fine right? She'll just learn to deal with it?

I’m not sure i just didn’t think that would show up at almost 9 weeks. I’ll have to read the article tonight when my kids go to sleep

I think the deformities can be mild at first and can become more noticeable as they grow. The hock or gastrocnemius tendon can rupture in some cases, I believe. Many chickens get along well with these leg bone deformities, while some don’t. The chick below has the opposite deformity—varus in the right leg. Last I recall, the chicken was doing well at a couple of years of age.

This is a late update but we took her to the vet and she ended up having a slipped tendon and had to be put down
