Help I think my chicken is egg bound.

This is the first chicken I’ve had be egg bound. It noticed it last night when I went to go lick them up for the night. She won’t stand but will eat and drink. I have her soaking in an epson salt bath. Is there anything else yall suggest?

Give her a calcium citrate tablet ASAP. Won’t hurt her if she isn’t egg bound and could save her life if she is.

How is she? Are you sure she is egg bound? When was the last time she laid?

I’m not sure what was wrong with her. Unfortunately she didn’t make it. She’s young we got her this spring. I think she’s laying but I’m not sure. We have 32 chickens so it’s hard to know for sure. All the others are acting normal.

Oh gosh I’m so sorry to hear that. It is hard to say sometimes what’s wrong. Wish they could tell us.
