Yes, I would give her some time alone....Check on her often though, and definitely feel for weird bumps. Best of luck!

I am so sorry for the delay with an update. She is doing well...she is very grumpy and she does not like the other young hen that has been included. She was egg bound, thanks for all the advice we were able to help her and she is now laying one to two eggs per day. Thank yall again and I am so very sorry for the delay with an update I will be more careful not to have such delays again.

She is laying 2 eggs a day? I think the other hen is laying too, very hard to lay 2 a day unless one is malformed or softshell.

In factory farms hens will lay two eggs a day, it depends on breed, and of course, in those farms, they use food, molt, and light manipulation
