Sorry I wasn't clear in my last email... I had had a busy, tiresome day.
Yes, I know that feed should be switched gradually for their health and safety. My goats get goat-specific pellets (and sweet feed) and I kept the receipt with the item number on it so I can get the same kind and to keep track of how much I'm spending. When I said 'grain' it was an all inclusive word that was meant to imply feed that has grains of various kinds and is designed for goats specifically. They don't ever get corn. It is just a pain to have to type it all out. Sorry about the confusion.
Just to be on the safe side, I'll keep a label for future reference. Thank you for that advise.
