OH NO how do you know. I have read about the feet/leg size, comb and bird size but they are the exact same size. I have a cockerel coming in June but I guess I can always cancel it. I guess time will tell but I think this just ruined my day.

I’m really hoping this one ends up like my last baby and is just a fast grower and ends up being a pullet

IMO size and leg size isn't very accurate.
That comb says cockerel to me. Especially compared to the other one"s.

I got this ‘pullet’ 2 weeks ago and the breeder was 100% is was a pullet. I’m not sure now. She/he is 4 weeks tomorrow and has a bigger comb than it’s sister. I’m really worried now!
Please help!! I would hate for it to be a cockerel.

I am not sure. BCMs have big combs early. I would think it would be bigger if it was a boy. You will know for sure in 1-2 weeks.

That’s what I was thinking and really hoping. I’ll keep this thread posted. I will post some more pics next week. They will go outside by themselves in 2 weeks so hope I will know by then

It does look bigger and the comb is certainly bigger but it is still completely pale. Repost in 2-4 weeks.

Ok, it took some catching flying baby chickens but for the most part they just stood there
