Help ID these footprints

[Becks Chicks]

When I went out to the coop this morning, there was raccoon feces about 3 feet away. I didn't have the energy to put the trap out yesterday evening. I'll make sure to do it tonight. My son said I need to add some chicken feathers inside and outside the trap and try and camouflage it somewhat. I'm not sure what food to put inside. Maybe peanut butter or dog food. I should probably research this. Stupid raccoons. The chickens weren't out in the run this morning like usual so they might be afraid.

Caught an opossum last night. At least I think that’s what this critter is. My husband won’t be home until later this evening so it will have to stay in the trap until then.

Because we made our chickens a predator proof coop & run with an apron predators don't come around often . They're never far away so I can't let my guard down.
