Hello!

This is my first go at raising chickens. We got this guy (I'm convinced it's a roo) a few weeks ago through our feed store, who bought chicks through Murry McMurray Hatchery in IA. I ordered BLRW, but I'm pretty sure he is not that breed.

SO, I am looking for some help IDing the breed and any confirmation on the gender.

More info:
- wing feathers are kinda sticking up
- very obvious comb growing, and possibly wattles
- tends to act aggressive to my BLRW chicks
- not obvious in pic, but I "think" it may be developing spurs (but maybe it's too early regardless of breed??)
- bottoms of feet look yellowish in color to me

Thanks for any help! I could wait to see how "he" grows, but I just don't want to!

With willow green legs like that, and feathers of that color, I would say Easter Egger, but I dont see muffs or beard. So I'm stumped

Yes, I completely agree EE after checking out the breed. Bummer it's a roo. Any tips for re-homing him or is it too soon to really confirm gender? Thanks for the help everyone!

you could post an ad on cragslist or put an ad on here but you have to be 18 and have so many posts.
