Help identify chick please

Yes they have partridge rock.

The "fluff" on the first one is a very very light yellow but everything else is very white, legs look almost white.

Does Privett sell Anconas? That would be my guess on the first chick...just a guess, though...I'll be interested to know how it develops!

heh I gotta laugh because an Ancona will be our first white egg layer. A few years ago I had to buy eggs from the store because the chickens weren't laying. I got a box of white free range eggs and when I brought them home one of my children got all excited. She never knew chickens laid white eggs because all ours lay brown and green.. so she said "white eggs! wouldn't it be cool if we had a chicken that laid WHITE eggs?!!" Well now we do LOL!

That little brown chick is beautiful. Privett Hatchery is where my feed store bantams come from. They seem to have a large variety of chicks bantam and big. Has anyone ever ordered straight from the hatchery?

I've ordered straight from Privett. They're very nice, like a little mom and pop type, family business attitude. This year I wanted to order just welsummers and ameraucanas and some new silkies but we just couldn't afford to make an order. Although I didn't get exactly what I wanted (although I think I got a few ameraucanas and a couple of silkies) it worked out well for us because we ended up with some turkeys and ducklings through the feed store. We've never had turkeys and ducks and the kids are really in love with the ducklings.

Did you order bantams or bigs? If you order Silkes and Ameraucans, do they mix bantams and bigs in the same order?
