I got some fertilized eggs from a farm near my work bc my broody hen’s first lay was unsuccessful but she refused to get off the nest. Her drive to be a mommy outweighed anything else I imagine. She ended up hatching four beautiful babies. One I know is a pullet golden laced Wyandotte, one I know is a cockerel Plymouth Barred Rock, but the other two I’m unsure of!! Please help! I will post two separate pics of each of the babies I’m not sure of below. The first two pics I’m beginning to think is a boy bc he keeps squaring up with the other Plymouth Barred rock cockerel & mounting mommy hen (!!). The last two pics are of the one I’m hoping and praying is just a REALLY big hen, and the golden laced Wyandotte pullet is next to her (him?) in both pics. Any help is much appreciated. Even if there’s some uncertainty, it can help point me in the right direction as far as researching omo (on my own). Oh yeah, it may help to know their hatch date was 4/7/2024. Thank you BYC companions!
