the dark red-brown one on the left looks like a road island red cross breed.

the light brown chick on the right looks like a buff orpington, but again just stabbing at it.

thanks I will... either way is fine really... we have a home for the roosters so no harm done... we wanted the hatching experience and we enjoyed that a great deal...I could have just bought some pullets or even purchased the hens but experience is worth alot... thanks for your input ....

They look pretty healthy to me, although the light brown one is a bit sleepy looking.
