These girls are about 13 (brown) and 15 weeks (buff/gold) old. We ordered them a couple months ago from a local farm and requested two Golden Laced Wyendottes and two Speckled Sussex pullets. Now that they are getting a bit older, we are thinking this is not what we actually received?

We think maybe we have two Buff Wyendottes and a Welsummer?

Any ideas? We're just curious!

I have attached some current photos plus a photo of our "welsummer" at about 5 weeks old.

Thanks!!

yep, I think you're right about the buff wyendotte. not sure about the other, though.

We were thinking that the buff colored girls were Buff Orpingtons due to white legs and they look so big now. They are also super friendly. How would one tell the difference between a Buff Orpington and a Buff Wyandotte?

The comb orps have single wyandottes have rose.

Now that the girls have grown up, it's apparent that we have a BSL , a Buff Orpington, and a Golden Wyandotte... Muffin the BSL is big time layer. The blondes, Biff and Buff have gone molty the last 3 weeks. :/
