Hi,

My father_in_law recently gave me a very old brooder, and I'm trying to identify the brand. It's in "ok" shape, and I believe that I can either build or have someone else fabricate most of the parts that are shot.

The hangars holding the trays and the feeders are a different story and would be much easier if I can track down the manufacturer, same with the electrical parts for the heaters...

Anyway, I know it's a longshot, with everything painted over dozens of times, but I'm hoping you could take a look and see if it rings any bells. He says it was a 1000 chick capacity, with individual temperature controls on each level for the coil heaters, and independent raising mechanism for the heater on each side. He says he's had it for at least 30 years, and believes that it was already long in the tooth when he got it secondhand. The color is simply the color he painted it over the years and likely not close to the original.

Anyway, here goes:

You
can't see it from the pic, but the whole thing is on casters.

This is the independent hookups with red bulb slot on top to indicate it's working: http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2161210610103987864ajMcWF

The
end where a universal key lowers and raises it, along with the nameplate.: http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2862403180103987864ivRQkU

And
finally a couple of pictures of the hangars that I don't think I can recreate easily.
