I would say if it is a chicken, maybe an Easter Egger.

Oh, Welcome to the BYC from NE Ohio!

She looks like she will be a neat colored bird!
I cannot help you on what she is.
Update us on her crop problem....it is amazing what we can learn on here.

It looks like an ee to me too. She probably has a pendulous crop. It can be genetic.

Since she has it at this early age, I would say there is not much hope for her.

Follow the directions given by nzpouter and wait to see if she gets better.

Definitely a chicken

I vote EE. I've seen so many different funky colors of EEs.

More than likely it does have canker in the crop (aka - wet canker, sour crop), causing crop stasis. Means the food and water isn't allowed to pass through the crop like normal because the canker is blocking the way. The bird will then 'gush' water when you pick it up. If I were you, I'd isolate it in a warm area ASAP. I'd treat it with meds (metronidazole products, like Fishzole. You might be able to find those at a pet store for fish). That should clear up any possible canker. In the meantime, you can give it some water with apple cider vinegar mixed in, two tablespoons per gallon, as a 'shock treatment'. It won't necessarily CURE the problem, but by giving it a higher dose of ACV than normal (usually people give one tablespoon to maintain healthy birds), the acidity can help keep the problem from growing further.

I agree that somewhere along the digestive tract there is infection and possibly blockage. Antibiotics and ACV are good choices. Live culture yogurt or probiotics may also help if there is an associated yeast infection.

I got home from work last night and the little chick had died during the day.
After emailing the picture to the hatchery they think it is was a EE

It died from a impacted crop I opened the crop and it was stuffed but the bird couldnt pass any food.
Any ideas of what could have caused this? We feed only crumbles and a few earthworms , and hand pulled some grass a few times now and again as treats.
We added some limestone grit to food pan incase they needed it.
