they where killed by a animal 4 before i moved out here last year and one was attacked by a animal it broke its leg n more and did not make it the last one his hide under our house at night and stay close to the fence nutin got him yet its been about 4 -5 months now my husband try to catch what it was never did

my borher in lay was taken care of them before we moved out here for a few months

I think you should put an ad I your local internet website...we have one and we buy and sell items all the time. People frequently advertise for ducks. Being a drake..please don’t expect to get much money, especially at this time of year. I rescued 28 drakes last year from people that didn’t want them..they were all free. I’m sorry you lost your other ducks. Perhaps, while you are waiting to rehome him, you could put a mirror in with him. They think there is another duck in with them and it makes them much happier, since, as you know, ducks need to be in pairs. Good luck..I’m glad you are trying to do the right thing for him.

Drop him off at a shelter. They will care for him till they find him a new home.

Call before you take your duck to a shelter, not all shelters take In poultry or other animals besides dogs an cats. Wasted trip if yours doesn’t. Have you tried the rehoming forum here on BYC or your state thread at “where am where are you” sure hope you can find him a forever home. @Ducklingbabys
