Welcome to BYC!

Sounds like she could have could have either bugs or vent gleet. Check her all over for mites. Look for black like dirt around the base of the feathers around the vent area. And around the back of the neck. Look for lots of broken feathers on the birds, and very red irritated skin in other places around the bird. Look under the wings. Lots of times there is bug evidence there as well. You can also go out after dark and shine a light on the birds and around the roost bar. Many times you can see mites at night on the birds.

If it is not bugs, than it could be vent gleet. A fungal infection in the intestinal tract. You will need to get the butt washed well and trim the feathers if you need to. You are going to want to apply some vaginal cream to the outside of the butt and all that red skin. Apply it once or twice a day to clean dry skin. Then use probiotics in the water. Change and make a new batch every day. This will also help with the fungal infection from the inside out.

You can also post this question in our emergency section for more help...

Good luck and I hope you can get this cleared up soon. :-)
