Help! I'm looking for a dog breed that....

sounds like most people here don't understand what the OP asked, or they don't understand characteristics of the breed they suggested

No need to insult, if I get a suggestion that doesn't work, at worst, I've learned about a new breed of dog

Vizslas look like weimaraners, which are FAR too energetic for us (my friend has two) so I've kind of been suspicious of them for a while

Yeah, they have both have VERY high energy, much more than a Golden. They’re very sweet dogs though and I think Vizslas are bit less “crazy” than Weims haha but still wouldn’t be a good idea I don’t think.

I don’t think they were trying to insult but people are suggesting things that would just go horribly wrong with your situation.

My mom is also interested in schnauzers, westies, and scotties, which are all a bit too small for my immediate liking, but are all very cute!
