I don't think you have to be too worried, I don't think the other poster was trying to scare you. I don't handle mine constantly, and I have had dozens of adult roos in the past, and only 3-4 have became slightly aggressive, all were either bantys, SLW's, or turken. With the turkens being the worst. You should be fine, just don't allow the kids to be in with alone if they are under 8.

Welcome to the forums!!! Lots of great info here. That is def an EE roo.

ETA: Oh yeah and there is an excellent source in these forums on dealing with an aggressive roo if he becomes so. But if you handle him a lot I wouldn't worry about it. I couldn't find it but you could run a search in here.

Do rooster really get that loud? I live in a small town with not so close neighbors. I have never even heard a rooster before :O) So my kids and I are excited for that!
