I live in a very hot (30-40*C) and humid (roughly 74%). I have started incubating chicken eggs in a small 7 egg Incubator inside our garage because it’s a safe place from our 2 cats.
I then realised that there would always be a layer of water on the glass of the incubator. We then put a hygrometer and it shows that the humidity inside is 71%. We are only at day 3, is this fine?
I have attached an image of my incubator. Thank you in advance.

It looks like incubator is running at 38.0C. That seems a bit high but I’m not familiar with that style of incubator.

have you added water to your incubator? With relative humidity that high you shouldn’t need water inside it.

I have heard of people using silica gel desiccant packs. You sometimes find these when you open a bag of tortillas or other food that needs to be kept relatively dry. They look like this (obviously a US link, but you get the idea). Other ideas include adding dry paper towels or a sock of rice, but your incubator looks really small for that so I would stick with the dessicant packets.

Yes I removed the water a few hours ago. Thank you very much!!!

Thank you very much, I might try this.
