Hi, I just just purchased a batch of call duck eggs today and the little incubator is warming up, awaiting their arrival. However I see so many different things on the internet I am so confused!! 28 days and 26??? Humidity at 86 or 50/66??

Whats correct?? Im new to hatching these little ducks and could use all the help out there from your experiences before I get started.
Thanks
Mary

ok , Call ducks are known to hatch on or after day 26 , mine allways hatch on day 28, but most hatch between 26- 28 give or take a day or so. incubating the call eggs is the easits thing , getting them to hatch is the hardist , the often need our help to help them hatch. i belive the temp sold be around 99.5-100. Not shure , i forget about the humindy tho

Temp: 99.5

Humidity: 45-55%

You should increase humidity by 15-20% the last three days before hatch.

However, you will have better success if you let a broody hen set on the eggs.

I'm glued to this thread too as I am just getting started with incubating call eggs and want more tips for my tool bag here...don't want to keep any chickens, but I might consider trying to get a call hen to go broody if we can't hatch them ourselves. I have one that seems pretty nesty so I am betting she would go broody with encouragement.
