Help!!!!! incubator melfunction

my home made incubator was doing great for 7 hours before i put my eggs in the temp. stayed at 98.5 the whole time but not ther temp drops and raises to 88-104 how do i stop it and r my eggs ok???? rite now my temp today has been at 95 never highered or lowered and humidity being at 77%

My home made incubator temp range from 88-112 but had a greater hatch rate than the little giant that hold temperature in tighter range. Your humidity is too high.

Your humidity should be about 40% up till pip time then up it to 70%. If you have a water heater thermostat in your bator watch this vid. It may help.

There is another vid on there of how to drill a few extra holes in it to make them more sensitive too. I have to do this with mine as I am still have a hard time keeping it stable with the tips from the first vid.
