The zipper hasn't yet progressed past where he was when I noticed he had started; I'd say he's zipped about 1.5 - 2 inches?

OK good, that vein is ACTUALLY RESIDING. That's VERY GOOD, WHEW.. it's not as full as in your first pic. So he is making progress. I would like to wait another 2 more hours to see if it completely clears up though
