Help!!! Injured hen stopped laying how long did you wait?

I just had a hen get over an impacted crop surgery. How long will it take her to lay again. She is back up to her normal weight. Also she's a Cuckoo Maran, will her egg be as dark as before?

It can take a few weeks for them to start up full production.. My girl that was eggbound took about three weeks to lay me an egg and about another week before they looked like her pretty green eggs again...

What color did they start out as?

They were green still just very pale in color... Not there usaul deep green

Ah.... she laid an egg this morning. Much smaller than normal and yes it is a little pale (that is since her eggs look like chocolate usually). But I am so relieved. This means she is fully healed! Yippee. I saved my birdie.
