Awe I am so sorry to hear about Spots.

He had us put her in a tub of water to see if she would paddle like a duck , to try and get out of the water.....he said it would be natural for her to do that if her legs were ok.......she didn't........it seems that she was paralyzed....we also noticed yesterday that her legs and feet were pulling up and curling and stiffening.......I could not stand seeing her like that. I'm just glad she is not suffering anymore......We had a pup , he was 5yrs. old (our kid) that developed kidney failure years ago and we did everything to keep him alive.....we kepted him alive for another year......but his quality of life was not good and he suffered because of our selfishness to let go.....I said then that I would never do that again to one of our animal babies.......so I feel that letting go of Spots was best for her.

I am so sorry. It does sound like a spinal cord injury. You did the right thing. Things would have gotten really bad and painful when her systems stopped working properly. Again, so sorry.
