@casportpony is expert at this.She’s going t try tube feeding today
The vomiting was before being tube fed, I’m not sure what she’s using,That is probably why she threw up right after feeding her pushing on her crop. Not a good idea to pick them up after they have been fed or drank alot of water both will come back up if still in the crop.
Did she ever hear from the vet?
What is she using to tube feed?
I haven’t heard anything about the baytril yet, she ended up tube feeding her a little bit which the duck apparently took really well, but she noticed later that the mucus like vomit seemed to coat the back of the ducks throat and dry hard, she ended up removing it but said it was hard to do, but neither of us know what that is or what’s going on at this pointIf cr she hasn’t been eating or drinking I have no. Idea other than nasty stomach content did she get the Baytril?
The duck does drink a little bit on her own, but doesn’t eatThat is terrible poor duck. Honestly at this point a vet would be best. I hope she has hydrated this duck that is the first step to tube feeding if they aren't drinking.
@casportpony any suggestions?
