Help! Is an Amaryllis plant poisonous?

My chickens just ate some of the leaves. There was no flower on it. Gardeners came and stuff got moved around. I just got home from work and found the flower pot in the chicken yard. I'm so upset. I hope they will be ok. Is there anything I can do or watch for? Thank you for advice.

If the chickens seem fine, hopefully they will be fine. Make sure they have water to wash anything down.. I've heard something about Epsom salt flushes to help them, even yogurt... Hope that helps

I was afraid to open the coop this morning, afraid of what I might see

But I am so relieved they were absolutely fine and hopped right out looking for their breakfast!
