I’ve put him back in the bator with the last two eggs. His problem is he seems to have a lot of energy, but he can’t walk. He can use his legs to prop himself up against something, but he can’t stand. If this doesn’t resolve in the next couple of days, I will have to consider euthanasia, but I don’t know how to do it humanely. Any suggestions?The incubator would provide the ideal warmth. Chick does not need to eat for the first days of her life. Consider how hatcheries mail day old chicks. They do not include feed with box. Don't give up
Incubator would be better than the heating pad IMO.
Open up every so often to introduce fresh air, unless there is sufficient ventilation in your incubator. She needs oxygen.
