Help -- is my americauna a Roo?

Looks like a pullet to me. At the age of these, my ameraucana roos had very red, distinct combs and their tail feathers were looking more like a fountain. The pullets all had the straight up or out feathers, no fountains.

I have EE's that I hatched that are 10 weeks old. It is VERY obvious which one is the roo. Comb is very pronounced on roo. He also started "trying" to crow this past week.

Looks exactly like one of my EE "pullets", Barbara. I have been wanting to post a photo of her because I have the same concern that she may be a he. I'll take a close up of her and post it so you can compare. Either way....... beautiful bird!

I would expect the comb, even if small, to have a lot of red/dark pink color at that age if it were a cockerel.

the pic is rather dark....is the area above the eye as red as it looks?

I am still going to reserve judgement

I had a *pullet* ameraucana and swore it was until *he* got sickle feathers at 5 months

, his comb was still the size(or smaller) than my pullets.....
