Help! Is my egg dead?

Yes I saw the little one moving 1 or 2 weeks ago..don’t know what happened..

Under a hen it is unusual for a chick to die mid incubation. Common causes of embryo mortality are incorrect temps or humidity or bacterial contamintion, all of which don't seem very likely with so many other chicks hatching fine. Most probably there is nothing you could have done for it and the reason was some kind of weakness or deficiency.

What about the second egg?
