Quail egg has been incubating 7 days and I’m worried about it keep in mind it’s about 89 degrees so the veins on bottom are a little splotchy cause I was candling anyways does this look like a normal 7 day old quail egg I incubate between 98 and 101

That does look like a blood ring which would mean it has died. You could always leave it in for a couple more days as long as it isn’t stinky, just to make sure
Yea I ended up opening it up cause it want moving and there was no heart beat

Quick question my other egg I think is doing great but he is very close to lockdown and should be hatching later this week. I candles him today and saw it looked Barry normal for a 12 day old egg it’s dark you can see a few veins not a crazy amount because this egg is exceptionally dark but if the lights bright enough you can clearly see it. The question is is it normal for when you turn a egg this age while candling the whole embryo seems to turn aswell? When I mean embryo turning the whole dark section doesn’t seemed attacked to the shell anymore. Does that mean hes dead?
