Help - is my favorite young hen really a roo??

I'm going to say roo just going by it's stance and the way it walks, also looks like it has some saddle feathers staring to grow on the vid can we see a photo of your other chooks too?

Okay, I found a couple of pics I took this past weekend at the same time as the video (they just didn't come out so great) so I'm going to add those just in case they help! Also, I'm not sure if this helps but it is difficult to tell in the photos - Maude is kind of short and squat. She is more of a small, round bird than the others. I'm also adding pics of my other three (who I'm sure are ladies!) - 2 are also mixes and one is a red sex link (I think!):

This shot was from this past weekend using a fancy setting on the camera so the colors are odd. I'm adding it because you can get an idea of Maude's size next to two of the other birds (Roxie is the main bird in the front of the photo):

Hmmm... If Maude is really a "Mark" does anyone have suggestions for how to keep her/him? I will go on record saying that I am not going to get rid of her/him regardless of what may be involved as I am way too attached already. I realize that she/he couldn't stay with the other 3 though as the one rooster to only 3 hens ratio wouldn't work.

I'm afraid it's time to accept the truth about Maude... Any suggestions for a good new name? I'm thinking "Moe" or maybe "Victor" (anyone remember the Julie Andrews movie Victor Victoria? ha ha). It poured rain tonight (half an inch in maybe 15 minutes) but I managed to get a few new pics while there's still some light. It's hard to tell but the last photo shows what really convinced me. There's one new tail feather peeking out that's a shiny, iridescent green/black... <sigh> Again, any thoughts on how to keep "Maude" and have a happy coop?

When girls start laying he will be gentle to them. Many breeders keep breeding pairs or trios and roos do not hurt the girls. If he is too active before girls start lay you can separate him for while.Good luck
