Help is this a rooster

Well I'm glad Blue is a hen , sadly Nugget makes me sad , he is sweet cuddles every night next to my cheek , city limits no roosters allowed and I really don't want baby chicks , but if the city allowed I would keep him we love him , even though he's very bossy to our hens ;)

If you look closely you can see the start of a grayish beard in the front aND little tufts on the sides where the wattles would form.
That being the case, I would have to concur with the EE assessment as I have an 8m/o EE myself. Check out my avatar and you can see what I am talking about.
We are fortunate to live in an unincorporated area so roosters are not an issue.
Both of our boys crow and we love the clear difference in their voices. We also love listening to the girls as they mature from the peepers that we started with to the flock of personalities that they are quickly becoming.

The fluffy cheeks are called muffs, it's a completely different gene than the fatal tuft gene.

Nugget is a rooster, sorry.
