Walked out to help guide my chicks back in their house and found one of my little Dominiques hiding beneath the coop. Her head is limp, she hardly lifted it when hearing the others call. She can stand, but barely. She's the only one exhibiting this behavior so far, and I'm worried that it might be Merak's. I bought her and the others from a local hatchery in Tennessee taht does not vaccinate, but I'm not sure if the hatchery is to blame because she is between 8-9 weeks old. Here are some pictures:

Currently I have her isolated with electrolyte water and medicated feed. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks so much.

At this point, it looks more like wry neck then Marek's. vitamin E capsuls, squeezed into her beak, twice per day...no more than 800 ius per day. You can also give her .25mls of poly vi sol children's vitamins per day. Without iron. You can search on here for more information on wry neck. It is a vitamin deficiency. You may have to take her off of her medicated feed until symptoms disappear. The medicated food contains a vitamin b blocker.

Good luck, keep us updated!

Thanks! One more thing I forgot to add - she has runny poop. I have some vit E on hand. Should I give her water with adopter as well? Thanks again!

If she can't eat/drink, you will need to give her some water with a dropper. Get the vitamins into her and see if it helps. You should see a great change within a couple days. If she can't eat regular feed, mix feed with water and make a paste...add some apple sauce or yogurt to make a nice mash. She will be able to pick that up and eat it easier. If not, you can spoon feed her some to keep her energy up.
