So we decided to build a coop and raise some chickens. An aunt and my grandfather decided to incubate a few as a surprise. Clueless to the breeds im told 4 are favorolle and 6 are buffs. Looking them up however i cant find any that match mine. Please someone at least point me the right direction?!? (The three pictured are the favs. 3 black/grey ones total)

The one in the bottom pic is a Salmon Faverolle pullet which, along with White Faverolles, is an APA recognized variety. The other two might be Black Faverolles, which do exist although they are not recognized by the APA. I'm not certain in this case as I have never actually seen any Black Faverolles chicks, but they don't look like any other chicks I am familiar with either.

They are definitely as loud as the salmon lol. And i wouldnt pit it past my aunt to have a rare breed as she does with other farm animals. I really appreciate your help and will certainly post more pics as they get older.

Just found some pics of Blue Orpingtons, and a post refering to Blue/Black favorolle. Seems possible to be a match but im far from making an educated guess at this

Black Faverolles are extremely rare, and the blues even more so. I am thinking they are mixes, as the second black chick looks to have yellow skin.
