No it isn't, but, now I get what you were getting at, I am in SW MO and in Tornado Alley, I think you are wanting to know how to anchor it???? If that is the case maybe you could try mobile home anchors???? And now maybe I will just be quiet, cause apparently I'm not much help, lol

lol you a lot of help....i mean it...lol, my husband came home from work with a lot of rebar and he's putting down cement around the egdes and making a foundation the same way. it gives me a chance to hide the ugly lava rock i can't get ride of under the coops to stop thing's from getting unde there.....i'll take some pic's if i have a chance

This made me laugh! My DH said he wanted nothing to do with my coop, too, but when I was building it, he came out and said, "what are you doing???!!!! Why are you doing it THAT way?! I just don't understand what you are doing!!!!"

Well, I finally told him to go away if he didn't like the way I was doing it since they were my chickens. Though once he finally got the drift of my design, he finally admitted that it was working out pretty well. I did finally end up asking him for help because he is 6'4" and I am 5'4" and my ladder started to sink in the mud and couldn't reach some of the stuff on the roof. He came out and did some of the high stuff for me.

I hope your coop turns out well!
