Help! Kitten wound covered in fly eggs!

Today I went outside and found out that my dog had ripped a kittens ear off. I put the kitten in a box in the garage, and when I came back the kitten had fly eggs all over its head. How do I get them off without causing extreme pain for the kitten.
Did you call a vet?

How old and how large is the kitten? You will never get all of them off without clipping the would and even then maggots are pretty insidious. DO try to get them off, but you need something systemic. I think Capstar is now available over the counter. The active ingredient is nitenpyram. This will kill off any maggots that might hatch. Definitely call a vet, as “ripped ear off” will need some sort of surgical intervention by the sounds of it.

Maggots. I hate maggots. The little ones. One of the few things I gave a hard time stomaching.
