Okay first of all Lemon is a chicken. She is a buff black tailed japanese.. or so I think she is japanese. She is very pretty and petite. I am guessing that she is about 1 year old. I bought her at an auction with her sisters. Okay so at night DeLaney sleeps in the coop with the big hens (by choice) and Lemon and DeLacey sleep in the pullet house. I went to check on them tonight and DeLacey was alone. So I checked with DeLaney and Lemon wasn't there either. I then checked both the hay barns, the shop, the duck house, and all the way around our house. She is no where to be found. My younger rooster has been mounting her alot more lately than usually. Could this have caused her to go broody? I had a Silver Duckwing that went broody and got eaten because she got out and nested in the trees. She is a bantam so she is rather small. i found no random "Lemon" feathers laying around, and it poured last night and everything was muddy but there were no tracks. I saw her this morning. But I was paying more attention to the ducks throughout the day. Well anyway please pray for her safe return or pray that I find her tomorrow! Thank you!
