Help! Lethargic Chicken- Closing One Eye

It didn't really seem like one eye was bothering her this morning- just sleepy.
Maybe that was a coincidence that she happens to just scratch it or something yesterday?

She sounds better. I would cook her an egg after work—they love those chopped up. I scramble them soft or you can boil them. The watery feed really gets fluids into them. Heat is hard on some chickens. Shade, even when you have to provide it with shade cloth or tables to get under, and several shaded water stations are good. I place a shallow pan half full of water in which to cool their legs. My chickens are keeping me busy with out 95 degree weather lately.

I will do that.
I tried a shallow pan with cold water and they didnt want to go in. Last heat wave I tried just giving them some cold hose water on the floor of the run to walk around in, but of course that becomes a muddy mess very quickly. (But at least they were looking more comfortable/not having heat stroke!)
Their run is shady for 90% of the day, with the exception of very early in the morning when the sun is very low.

I made a homemade electrolyte solution....
1 cup warm water
2 teaspoons molasses OR 2 teaspoons granulated sugar.
1/8 teaspoon salt.
1/8 teaspoon baking soda.

My hen doesn't seem overly lethargic, but she is really holding that left eye shut! I don't notice anything off about the eye when I open her lid to take a peek. She's eaten a strawberry and walked around her quarantine pen, seemingly normal I put some eye drops in, just to flush it out.

No idea what to try next

My chickens won’t go into the pan of water while I am there, but I see them from time to time, or see where they have stood in there and gotten it dirty later in the day. It is just something I put out for them if they want to use it.

Resting quietly, got some of the electrolytes in her. no other symptoms

Update-
According to my latest report from home, Lilo is acting like her normal self again. Eager to get out of the crate. I'm going to try reintroducing her asap when I get home. It's been a little over 24hrs, hopefully she hasn't been kicked out of the flock yet.
Looks like she was just overheated after all. The eye must have just been coincidence after all?

I hope you get some answers on yours :(

GREAT NEWS!!
My girl didn't object the eye drops, let me eye dropper the electrolyte solution into her mouth, & her appetite is returning (crumble & strawberries soaked)...pooped a watery milky color stool, but just had normal-ish brown stools! Walking all around crate but eye still shut...well keep her in cool basement tonight & see if the eye rights itself by morning. Wonder if heat/dehydration is just leaving her in a state of exhaustion <3
