Hey.
So, we have a hen at home. She is relatively lethargic, got some heavy breathing going on and eyes closing. She also does not eat a lot, which is a part of my concern. Her poop is sometimes green and foamy, I am wondering if this is due to a bacterial issue or because of the appetite.

It has been very, very hot where we are, around 90 degrees farenheit every day thanks to the heat wave. Sometimes, we do see her drinking out of random puddles, which could be a concern. I don't know what the best thing to do here is. So, I'm wondering what I can do for her. Thank you.

The heat might have lined up. However, even after we brought her in, she is still like this.

You might try soaking her in an Epsom salt bath, that may perk her up a bit so she will eat a little for you. Maybe try a little scrambled eggs, vitamins and electrolytes in her water. Also some vet RX. You can also give her some nutra drench or poultry cell directly just be careful not to put it down her lungs. You can Google how to give a chicken liquid. I just place a little at a time on the end of the beak with a dropper and give them time to swallow it before giving more. Hope your girl gets better.
