It probably is a pulled muscle. As long as she can put some kind of weight on that foot, and she doesn't lose her appetite or seem sickly, then time is your best bet.

This is strange I am having the same strange problem with my Barred Rock and My Bo is picking at her too. We decided to give it time but it is just getting worse. she has had the limp for almost a month now.
