Help lone duckling

So my 2 replacement ducklings arrived today and one had passed away again. Now I’m left with one lone duckling. My Three from one week ago are thriving and very big! Too big to place with the loner duckling right now. Advice please!!! Both times it was the buff duckling that passed. I feel so sorry for this little baby. I’m sure in a week they can be out together. Right now baby is to weak and fragile.
Any advice???

I just put a Welsh in with the baby. Seemed to help baby. Tried all three and they just picked on poor thing. But welsh is very upset about being separated.
Maybe intervals? I also have a brooder plate. Not a heat lamp

I think it might be good to leave the little Welshie in with the baby until its big enough to put them all together

You could also add a mirror, a duck plush, and just give him lots of attention.

I just got off phone with metzer. They suggested the same. Right now little duckling is snuggled next to mirror. I will place welsh in there every so often. Right now I need baby to get warm. I will feel a little better about it when baby gets recovered a little better.

Things are going better. Little duckling gained some energy and is with the big girls and is very happy. They are treating her well. Amazing what a difference a week makes in size! And I thought chickens grew fast.

Little lone duckling is doing well!!! Apparently ducklings are way better behaved than chickens . Totally accepted her. She always sleeps in the middle. They are all growing like weeds.
