Hey guys we just got home and 3 of the 12 eggs are starting to crack through!!we are trying RI. th ank you sally sunshine im going to read them now. thanks to everyone else also you guys helped alot and eased my mind...keep you guys posted can't wait to post pics of my little babies. its nuts that its a living creature that I'm hatching!

How egg citing! Sorry, I couldn't pass that up. Looking forward to your announcement and hoping for all good news.
It sounds silly but I have an attachment to our chicks and can't imagine what it would feel like had we actually
hatched them. We've only had ours 2 months and am still getting used to the idea of being a chicken mom.
Will be watching for updates :>

. Oh my gosh this is really awsome we had 2 hatch another one on the way! We are letting our dog lay by the brooder to get used to them shes doing really well. Has been laying there with them all night. The babies caught really quickly to eatting and drinking.

The only thing they should be eating right now is chick starter and drinking fresh water. Congrats on the cute babies. Keep us posted on the rest.

I have had chciks hatch on the 24th day, it is hard to really figure out exact day. Just hang in but do not touch or open incubator it will mess up the hatch..I have also helped many chicks out of the shell after 24 hours of them trying to get out.People say don't do that but I would have lost many chicks if not.
