Hello everyone!
Yesterday we noticed one of our leghorns acting strange..she was keeping separate from the rest of the flock and acting lethargic. We noticed she has a large lump on the back of her neck. My husband touched it and it's hard/firm and warm. We aren't sure if it's a cyst, tumor or abscess. Should we try lancing it? Using a hot compress? Do we give her antibiotics? We feel so bad for her and want to help but don't know what to do.
If anyone has experience with something like this and could provide some guidance we would greatly appreciate it.
