Hi, my eggs began to pip around 6 am yesterday morning and not much happened from there, although we could see the egg moving. Well last night as i was cooking dinner, my curious 10 year old had gone to the incubator and began peeling away at the shell because she didn't think they were going to make it. after making this discovery, we have left them alone over night and no progress has been made. I've kept the temp at 99 and have the humidity at 70%. Their little beaks are out and they squeak from time to time however I'm afraid they as going to shrink-wrap (even though I've wrapped a damp warm paper towel around each egg. Should I intervene at any point and help with the hatching?

It can take up to 36 hrs from pip to zip so things still maybe good. but here is a tread that may help if you have to intervene. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...days-ago-but-no-external-pip-yet#post_8686492 and
