So I have few cockorels , this two are my favourite,
First one is HENRY he is cross between Sussex and NN rooster, second one is DUKE he is cross between Sasso (dual purpose breed) and NN rooster.

I had NN hens once, they laid eggs and hatched 2, one half, NN baby roosters. I decided to keep those babies and rehomed the hens thinking I would still get NN, but their off spring were all regular.

I am more a fan of NN then red.

What are your goals for those cockerels? Why do you want to keep one? My personal preferences and criteria aren't what is important. yours are. What criteria are you looking at?

If you are looking for behaviors they look too young to put a lot of faith in that. Their behaviors can change as they mature and having more males around can influence their behaviors. They may have disqualifying behaviors now but may seem OK for now but can change later. It's not always easy.

If you plan on breeding them, what do you want the offspring to be like? Since they are crosses and I don't know what you would be breeding them to it's hard to talk about colors and patterns. The red one would more likely allow the hen's colors and patterns to shine through. The black one will probably give you a lot of black chicks.

The naked-neck gene is dominant. If just one gene shows up the chicken should be naked necked. I don't know if their mothers were naked necked or if they had the same father. The black one should give you some NN chicks, the red one will not unless they get it from the mother.

The longer you keep them the better choice you can probably make, but basically it comes down to which one you like the best.

They share same dad, NN ROOSTER, MY Goal is have good and peaceful roo with good gentic beacuse I plan breeding, I have small incubator for 30 eggs and I used it this year first time and end up with 20 CHICK'S , so I plan do it again..My goal is produce high-quality chickens who are great layer's and alsoe have lot of meat so . NN cockorel have better genetic for egg laying and red one have better for meat 🍖... So I must decide which one to keep 🐣

They are 4 months old now my plan is Keep them both so they reach 6 months.. and then see their weight, if their weight will be around the same I will keep NN .. but if RED ONE will be obviously more heavy then I will go with red, beacuse their father is NN LEGBAR CROSS AND have good gentic for egg laying, but their mothers are completely different breed.

And I have a few hens and pullets with Nacked neck so NN GENS will not be lost if I Keep red one 🤗
