Do you feed a poultry layer feed?

Yes they eat the same stuff as my chickens

Sometimes i cant get duck feed so i get chicken feed, add nitritional yeast and oyster shell on the side

I got the duck and goose grower and I have oyster shells already, so I’ll do that combo!

Be sure not to mix the oyster shell in with the food especially if you've got both ducks and drakes. Most of us put it in a separate container and the girls will eat it as they need it. They seem to know!

I took a plastic coke bottle, cut it in half, drill a couple of holes in it so I could wire it right to my fence so that it doesn't get spilled. It's working out great and it was "free"!
