The most productive hen I’ve owned was my Rhode Island Reds. I recently did get some red stars and ISA Browns. They are known to be very productive and so far have gifted me an egg just about every day since they’ve been laying. I do have some golden comets but this is the third year I’ve had them and they seem to be going downhill already. But I’ve heard that before about golden comets.

Welcome to BYC!!! I've had red stars before, & they were really good layers. They laid large eggs almost everyday.
