Help me convince DH to keep a roo

I understand your thoughts, and that you say you’ll cull if he’s a problem, but he’s already sounding like one. He’s damaging their feathers, right? Not great.
In the grand scheme he just sounds like a cockerel though. I can’t blame him.
As for DH….just go and list your reasons. Make a a powerful point, and counter his.

If he is the offspring of the aggressive rooster you got rid of, I wouldn’t keep him. He has the same genetics.
Why do you want to keep a rooster?
I personally love my rooster, I love the crowing 24/7/365 and he is a great protector. All the roosters I have had come from good genetics, nice, non-aggressive dads.

This one has not damaged the feathers yet. The birds are still recovering from the last rooster.

He literally just started mounting yesterday. It was his father that damaged the feathers. I've listed my reasons to my husband and he just grunts and says "I dont like him":th

I agree, if his dad was an a**hole he might literally follow in his footsteps.

Technically he only has half of the same genetics...

Ah, I see. That’s better.
Well, ask your husband why! Then slap his opinion away with 542000000,356800 chicken facts and force him to just shout ‘OKAY!‘
