Hi all - I've got chickens hatched June 4th. Three are laying now!

But I don't know who they are. I have a Columbian Wyandotte, a LF Easter Egger, a WCB Polish, and 3 bantams: buff brahma, ee, and white silkie. The wyandotte has been laying about 2.5 weeks. About a week ago I started getting more eggs.

I'm getting 2 bown and 1 green(ish) egg almost every day (actually around a 30 hour cycle). The size of the green egg makes me think the ee bantam is the culprit. That leaves the other brown egg. The suspects are the LF easter egger or the bantam brahma. The EE is the typical rust color with yellow legs.

The two brown eggs are approximately the same size (small-medium). I know they're early in the laying experience, and the eggs tend to be smaller yes? The brahma has had a red comb and face much longer than anyone else, and tends to "hang out" around and in the house much more than anyone else. Would it be typical to have a bantam start laying relatively large eggs? Or do I have a dud in the easter egger department - getting brown eggs from her?

Or should I just wait and see what else shows up in the boxes in the (hopefully!) near future?
