Help me find dog breeds

Brief rant:
The worst movie ever made, '101 Dalmations'!!! This is a guard breed, and so misunderstood by so many, thanks to that movie. The only dog I've owned who actually bit people, because he'd be growling, barking, hair shackled, and idiots would walk right up to him as he was guarding the door. The last time I took him to a pet store, a parent let his toddler run up to hug him. He was an adult rescue, and fortunately very obedient, so didn't bite this child because i was reinforcing my control. That child, I hope he wasn't injured sometime thanks to his parent's idiocy!
Nobody ever challenged my Chessies when they were in guard mode!

I would never approach somebody else’s dog with out asking first no matter the breed, nobody should do that with out asking.

Most dogs even protection breeds won’t bite without training. Bark maybe but not bite

You are looking for a working type dog, and they all need good obedience training, socialization, and to believe that the humans in their family are the pack leaders. And they need gainful employment, because being smart means boredom, and that leads to obnoxious behaviors.
The more time invested in training and socialization, the better and more reliable the outcome.

For you, I suggest the belgian Laekenois

they are often used in protection and bite work sports, but they orginaite from belgium as a herding breed

they have a rough curly coat, and they stand at 24-26 inches, a bit tall, but otherwise they fit the bill perfectly

There is also the Belgian Tervuren, Groenendael, Bouvier des Flandres

All belgium herding breeds that have long fur, with a herding background

You want him or her to bite when threatened right? But a lot of dogs won’t even do that. There’s a lot of videos testing that where they have someone break in and everyone thinks their dog will attack and most just run away. Even with someone in their home.
