I am trying to figure out the breed for these chickens. We bought them from CAL Ranch and they got their chickens from Hoover Hatchery this year.

The all black chicken we were told is a midnight majesty. We have five and they have feathered feet, a green shine, and a white feather on their wing.

The buff I am not sure. My husband picked her out and I don't know what bin she came from.

The black and white bantam and the pair of chickens were in an assorted bantams bin at different times. I believe the pair are d'uccles.

This is a very fun mix! I think you are right about the pair, and I suspect the black ones are black french marans, I may have missed something though.

Still checking out the others : )

The black ones could easily be Midnight Majesties, a hatchery Marans hybrid. Pullet.

The second one looks like some type of green egger. Starlight green egger or Whiting true green, maybe. Pullet.

The black and white one is a birchen Cochin cockerel.

You are right, the last two are mille fleur D'Uccle cockerels.
